ATHEISM – A Black colored theory which actually means more than just “NO GOD.” Science plays a charming role to atheism, which staunchly argues that God does not exist. But atheism doesn’t stop with explanations. It often gets real too, in fact surreal sometimes.-

The first name that pops into any Asian mind when it comes to Atheism would be Thanthai Periyar. Periyar- the Socrates of South East Asia is one of the best examples for the metaphor, ‘one man army.’ Thanthai Periyar [or Father Periyar] along with his ‘rational loving’ gamut of atheists, ignited the social war against all odds in the Indian society, paving way towards a reformed civilization. Today, ‘Periyarism’ has whizzed through many boundaries, abandoning nightmares of false beliefs from the past and is armoured with ’rationalism’ which was a distant dream during the early 19th century. With years unfolding, the light of Periyarism has only gotten better and nothing less. For every bold idea, stands an ardent torch bearer who carries forward the light of enlightenment. Dr.K.Veeramani, the successor and the unprecedented follower of Thanthai Periyar, dedicated himself to keep-up the flame of rationalism, unperturbed forever. “Asiriyar”,(means 'Editor') as K.Veeramani is lovingly called, has catapulted Periyarism across the globe. In much awe for the many good reforms he has brought to the society through Periyarism, we owe our gratitude to him.
